Of the patients who truly have a condition, the share the model correctly flags. High sensitivity means it misses few real cases.

Sensitivity is the number that matters when missing a case is the disaster. A stroke triage tool with 95% sensitivity still misses 1 in 20 real strokes. For a screening tool, that miss rate decides whether you trust it to rule patients out, or only ever use it to flag patients in. Always ask for sensitivity and specificity together. A vendor quoting one without the other is hiding the trade-off.
